It's Name is Earl,

and it's a tropical hurricane heading for...

the Maritimes?

According to the influx of concerned emails in my inbox (confirmed by a trip to theweatherntwork.com) there is a hurricane that's expected to hit us on Saturday. Apparently, we could be getting anywhere from 40 - 70mm of hard-pouring rain with high winds (Nova Scotia's getting the brunt of the wind) and the Red Cross has recommended that you be able to sustain yourself for 72-hours.

Um...should I be worrying about this? I went grocery shopping today and pudding was on sale, so we definitely have 72-hours worth of Oreo-Jello flavoured sustenance...
